Job summary

Banfield Pet Hospital is seeking a Client Service Coordinator to manage client and pet flow, support a productive veterinary team and ensure welcoming service. The role emphasizes education on wellness plans, preventive care and hospital services, while maintaining smooth front-desk operations.

You will interact with clients, schedule appointments and assist with documentation, ensuring accurate records and a positive client experience in a busy hospital setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old to perform radiography.
• One year of related experience required with customer service preferred.
• Medical background (veterinary technician, human healthcare, pharmaceutical, etc.) with medical terminology training is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Live and exemplify the Five Principles of Mars, Inc. within self and team.
• Recruit new clients by promoting hospital services and route the flow of clients and pets to ensure superior client care and maximum productivity.
• Maximize the number of pets seen by the hospital team through a productive and efficiently run hospital to support wellness plan clients.
• Provide professional, efficient and exceptional service at all times; educate clients about pet health.
• Educate clients about Optimum Wellness Plans and preventative care.
• Assist incoming clients with documentation and pet history in the computer.
• Assist outgoing clients with instructions, invoices and scheduling.
• Manage finances by maintaining accurate balances and opening/closing procedures.
• Conduct administrative functions as necessary.
• Other duties as assigned.
