Job summary

Banfield Pet Hospital in the United States is seeking a Client Service Coordinator to drive client and pet flow, support the veterinary team, and ensure excellent client communication. You will assist onboarding, data entry, prescriptions, and scheduling while maintaining accurate finances in a busy hospital setting.

The role requires strong English communication, at least a year in customer service, and a willingness to work extended hours including weekends and evenings.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be 18 years or older to perform duties involving radiography and exposure to procedures.
• One year of related customer service experience preferred.
• Medical background (veterinary or healthcare) with terminology training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Live and exemplify the Five Principles of Mars, Inc. within self and team.
• Recruit new clients by promoting hospital services and route client flow for productivity.
• Maximize number of pets seen by maintaining a productive, efficient hospital flow.
• Provide professional, friendly service; welcome clients and educate about pet health.
• Educate clients about Optimum Wellness Plans and preventative care.
• Assist incoming clients with documentation and pet data entry; manage IDs.
• Provide invoices, dispense prescriptions, sell retail products, schedule appointments.
• Manage finances with accurate balances and opening/closing procedures.
• Perform administrative duties as needed; support team tasks.
