Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of front desk or receptionist experience in medical/dental/urgent care or veterinary settings.
• Strong verbal and written communication; active listening and conflict resolution.
• Experience with appointment scheduling, multi-line phones, data entry, and payment processing/POS.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check in clients and patients at the front desk; collect intake information and confirm appointment details.
• Answer and manage a multi-line telephone system; direct calls and inquiries about scheduling and services.
• Process payments, post charges, and schedule future appointments during checkout.
• Provide compassionate customer service to clients experiencing anxiety or distress regarding their pet's health.
• Enter data accurately and keep records organized in the practice management system.
