Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year front desk or customer service in a medical, dental, veterinary, or high-volume setting.
• Strong verbal and written communication, including active listening and conflict resolution.
• Experience with appointment scheduling and multi-line phone systems.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and adaptable to new software workflows.
• Genuine affinity for animals and comfort in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check in clients and patients at the front desk and confirm appointment details.
• Answer multi-line phones, direct calls, and manage inquiries about services.
• Process payments, post charges, and schedule future appointments.
• Provide compassionate service to clients facing anxiety or distress about their pet.
• Enter data accurately and maintain organized records in the practice software.
• Communicate with clinical staff to relay messages and flag urgent matters.
• Keep the reception and waiting area clean, organized, and welcoming.
