West Seattle Animal Hospital, Inc. is hiring a Client Care Receptionist (CCR) to join our team. This full-time role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service, managing a busy front desk, and coordinating appointments for a busy veterinary hospital.

The CCR will greet clients, answer phones, schedule visits, and support the medical team while maintaining organized records and a warm, professional environment for pets and their families.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of customer-service experience
• Experience in an office or medical environment preferred
• At least one year of animal-care or veterinary experience is highly preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Exceptional customer-service and interpersonal skills
• Experience using multi-line phone systems
• General computer skills (MS Office, Google Chrome)
• Strong typing and data-entry skills
• Ability to learn new software quickly
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Ability to stay calm in stressful situations
• Dependability and punctuality

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and patients warmly and professionally
• Manage a multi-line phone system while balancing priorities
• Schedule veterinary appointments
• Check clients and patients in and out
• Coordinate communication between clients, veterinarians, technicians, and staff
• Maintain accurate patient records and client information
• Prepare and process invoices and payments
• Communicate services and recommendations clearly
• Create a welcoming reception environment
• Support clients during emotional or urgent situations
