Animal Emergency and Specialty Center of NWA in Northwest Arkansas is seeking a Veterinary Customer Service Representative to join our busy 24-hour emergency team. This full-time role offers $18–$20 per hour and a supportive, fast-paced work environment.

You will handle client communications, de-escalate stressful situations, and collaborate with veterinary staff to ensure smooth operations. Weekend and night shifts are required; prior veterinary receptionist experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year veterinary receptionist experience preferred.
• Ability to work 24-hour schedule (day, swing, night) and weekends.
• Strong communication and multitasking abilities.
• Compassionate, calm team-player with a customer-first mindset.
• Proficient with computer systems and clinic software.

Responsibilities

• Be a calming presence for clients and patients during emergencies.
• De-escalate concerns using empathy and clear communication.
• Collaborate with veterinary staff to maintain smooth client care and operations.
• Participate in monthly training and complete continuing education hours annually.
