Animal Emergency and Specialty Center of NWA in Northwest Arkansas is seeking a Veterinary Customer Service Representative to join our busy 24-hour emergency team. This full-time role offers $18–$20 per hour and a supportive, fast-paced work environment.

You will handle client communications, de-escalate stressful situations, and collaborate with veterinary staff to ensure smooth operations. Weekend and night shifts are required; prior veterinary receptionist experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year veterinary receptionist experience preferred.
• Ability to work 24-hour schedule (day, swing, night) and weekends.
• Strong communication and multitasking abilities.
• Compassionate, calm team-player with a customer-first mindset.
• Proficient with computer systems and clinic software.

Veterinary Customer Service Representative

• Full-time
• Compensation: USD 18 - USD 20 - hourly

The Animal Emergency and Specialty Center of NWA is a well-established and growing emergency and critical care practice. We are the only after-hour facility in the Northwest Arkansas area and the only 24-hour ER in Arkansas at the moment!

Our brand new, state-of-the-art facility is fully equipped with digital radiography, large touch screen monitors in all client rooms, Ultrasound, Idexx laboratories in-house, and a ForceTriad electrosurgical system. We also have CT and MRI capability in-house through referral. Just as important, we have a friendly, highly skilled,motivated, and fun-loving staff.

We are very flexible with scheduling and are willing to work around requests, within reason. Our practice is remarkably busy, so it is important for our staff to be able to handle high-stress situations, multitask well, and have good communication skills. We want our staff to be hands-on!

We are currently looking to fill 1 CSR position for day (6a - 6p) / swing (1p - 1a) and weekend hours!
