Akumin Inc. in Louisville, KY is seeking a PETCT Technologist to join our full-time team.

This role focuses on producing high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring patient safety and regulatory compliance, including handling radioactive materials and documentation. You will collaborate with radiologists, directors, and the sales team on protocols and quality issues, and assist with start-up activities and new business initiatives.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent experience.
• NMTCB or ARRT (N).
• State license, as required.
• CPR certification.
• Valid state driver’s license, as applicable.
• 3+ years’ Nuclear Medicine experience in high-visibility settings.
• Experience managing relationships with physicians and customers.
• Strong communication across all organizational levels.

Responsabilités

• Produces high-quality diagnostic images and ensures patient safety, including pre-screening for contraindications.
• Adheres to aseptic techniques and radiation safety regulations; documents radioactive material handling.
• Collaborates with physicians, Radiology Directors, and sales to discuss protocols and quality issues.
• Troubleshoots PET/CT scanner and peripheral equipment; supports start-ups and new business as needed.
