Akumin is hiring a PET/CT Technologist for our Louisville, KY facility. The role requires an associate degree or equivalent, NMTCB/ARRT (N), CPR, and 3+ years in Nuclear Medicine. You will work across multiple locations, ensuring high-quality imaging and strict radiation safety.

Preferred candidates may hold a Bachelor's degree and have experience with GE, Siemens, and Philips systems. Travel up to 90% may be required; Akumin offers competitive benefits and a strong emphasis on patient care.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience.
• NMTCB or ARRT (N).
• CPR certification.
• State license, as required.
• 3+ years in Nuclear Medicine procedures.
• Experience in high-pressure environments with patient satisfaction.
• Experience managing physician/customer relationships.
• Willingness to travel up to 90%.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality diagnostic PET/CT images and ensure patient safety.
• Screen for contraindications and follow radiation safety regulations.
• Coordinate with ADDs, radiologists, and physicians on protocols and quality.
• Troubleshoot scanners and peripheral equipment; support sales in startup projects.
