Job summary

Akumin Inc. - Clarksville, TN facility is seeking a PRN PET/CT Technologist. The role focuses on producing high-quality diagnostic images while prioritizing patient safety, pre-screening for contraindications and radiation safety procedures.

The candidate should have an associate degree or equivalent, NMTCB/ARRT(N), state license where required, CPR, and 3+ years in nuclear medicine; travel and cross-location work may be required.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent experience.
• NMTCB or ARRT(N).
• State license, as required.
• CPR certification.
• As applicable, valid state driver’s license.
• 3+ years’ experience in Nuclear Medicine procedures.

Responsibilities

• Produces high-quality diagnostic images with attention to patient safety and radiation safety.
• Collaborates with physicians and radiology teams on PET/CT protocols and quality issues.
• Troubleshoots scanners and peripheral equipment as needed.
• Assists with start-ups and new business as needed.
