Job summary

Akumin Inc. is seeking a PET-CT Technologist for our Arizona facilities. This part-time role supports outpatient imaging across multiple access points, including freestanding centers and hospital settings.

You will ensure patient comfort, safety, and high-quality PET-CT studies through proper technique and attentive care. The ideal candidate has NMTCB or ARRT(N) certification, CPR, and 1–2 years Nuclear Medicine experience, with flexibility to work at several locations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• Nuclear Medicine Certification by NMTCB or ARRT(N) is required.
• CPR certification is required.
• State license, as applicable, may be required.
• 1–2 years of Nuclear Medicine experience preferred.
• Ability to work at several locations.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Basic computer knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for patient safety, pre-screening, aseptic technique, and radiation safety.
• Produces high-quality diagnostic PET-CT images.
• Communicates effectively with patients, radiologists, and staff.
• Train new technologists and/or PC's.
• Troubleshoots scanner and related equipment (monitors, PACS, coils).
