Akumin in Lexington, KY is seeking a full-time PET/CT Technologist to join our mobile team. The role supports the UK site with occasional travel to other Lexington area locations, ensuring high-quality PET/CT imaging and patient care.

The ideal candidate will have NMTCB or ARRT(N) certification, state licensure as required, CPR, and the ability to work at multiple sites while delivering excellent patient experience and precise imaging results.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Certification in Nuclear Medicine by the NMTCB or ARRT (N).
• State license, as required.
• CPR certification.
• As applicable, valid state driver’s license.
• Ability to work at several locations.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Organizational and multi-tasking skills.
• Basic knowledge of computer applications and programs.

Responsabilités

• Responsible for patient safety including pre-screening for contraindications and radiation safety with proper documentation of radioactive materials.
• Produces high quality diagnostic images
• Effectively communicates with customers and radiologists
• Trains new technologists and/or PCs
• Troubleshoots the scanner, coach and peripheral equipment (monitors, PACS, coils, etc.)
