Job summary

Texas Oncology seeks a PET/CT Technologist to support the Amarillo, TX location. The role may be Level 1, 2, or Sr based on experience and will perform imaging, QA, and data management.

Ideal candidates have nuclear medicine or radiologic technology degrees, PET-CT certification, and CNMT/ARRT(N) licensure where applicable. Responsibilities include scheduling support and adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate degree in Nuclear Medicine or Radiologic Technology from an AMA accredited program required.
• PET-CT certification and national certification preferred.
• Active state licensure where required.

Responsibilities

• Perform PET imaging procedures and related functions under supervision.
• Collaborate with Medical Director on equipment performance and QA.
• Support compliance with ethics and business standards.
• Assist in scheduling, patient data accuracy, and archiving images.
• Explain safety procedures and manage data transfers and archiving.

Education

AS or BS Nuclear Medicine Technology (AMA accredited)

PET-CT certification

CNMT and/or ARRT(N) certification

State licensure where applicable

Experience in nuclear medicine and/or PET
