Job summary

Texas Oncology seeks a PET/CT Technologist to support the El Paso Gateway Cancer Center. The role may be Level 1, 2, or Senior based on experience, with responsibilities for PET imaging, QA, and patient data management.

The ideal candidate will have an AMA-accredited Nuclear Medicine or Radiologic Technology degree, PET-CT certification, CNMT/ARRT, and licensure where applicable; 3–5 years in nuclear medicine is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelors in Nuclear Medicine Technology or Radiologic Technology with PET-CT certification.
• 3–5 years of nuclear medicine experience; PET experience preferred.
• CNMT and/or ARRT certification and state licensure where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Performs PET imaging procedures including injection, protocol setup, positioning, reconstruction and archiving of images.
• Assists in scheduling and front-office functions to support workflow.
• Ensures accuracy of patient demographics, report distribution and files; maintains QA and safety standards.
