UCI Health in Orange, CA seeks a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform comprehensive in vivo and in vitro nuclear medicine procedures, including PET/CT studies, and to support quality patient care under the Nuclear Medicine Supervisor and Medical Director. The role involves image acquisition, protocol adherence, and ongoing quality control of imaging equipment.

Candidate must hold an accredited Nuclear Medicine credential, have at least two years of relevant experience, and possess strong

Formación

• Minimum of two years of recent experience in Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT.
• Proficient computer skills and ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Current and active CRT, CTNM, ARRT, or NMTCB credentials.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsabilidades

• Perform the full range of in vivo and in vitro Nuclear Medicine procedures using radiopharmaceuticals and related chemicals.
• Operate and perform QC on stationary and portable scintillation equipment (gamma cameras, counters, dose calibrators).
• Perform PET, NucMed, and CT diagnostic studies on PET/CT scanners, including CT contrast administration and image reformatting.
• Create and program study-specific protocols under supervision of the Nuclear Medicine Supervisor and Medical Director.
