Job summary

Yale New Haven Health is seeking a skilled PET/CT Technologist to join our advanced imaging team in New Haven, CT. Under supervision, you will perform PET/CT and general nuclear medicine studies, while ensuring high-quality diagnostic images and patient safety.

You will work in a collaborative environment, manage radiopharmacy duties, and participate in equipment quality control, scheduling, and patient experience initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an AMA-approved Nuclear Medicine Technology and Radiological Technology program.
  • Associate degree required; Bachelor's preferred.
  • 1–2 years of Nuclear Medicine experience.
  • CT imaging experience required.
  • Connecticut license and CPR certification.
  • NMTCB or ARRT certifications.

Responsibilities

  • Perform high-quality PET/CT imaging procedures using appropriate standards to obtain diagnostic information.
  • Conduct General Nuclear Medicine and PET imaging studies and CT protocols.
  • Maintain radiopharmacy duties and proper documentation.
  • Quality control of gamma cameras, PET/CT equipment, and related systems.
  • Schedule patients and monitor procedure status in the Imagecast system.
  • Provide a professional, compassionate patient experience and education.
  • Adhere to ALARA principles and safety regulations.
