Job summary

Associates in Medical Imaging, LLC seeks a PET Technologist to perform PET and CT imaging, administer radiopharmaceuticals, and ensure patient-centered care. You will operate PET/CT equipment, process images, and maintain documentation in RIS, PACS, EMR, and related systems.

Requirements include ARRT Radiography, Nuclear Medicine certification, CT competency, and preferred PET/CT experience. Robust safety, communication, and organizational skills are essential for this role in a busy clinical

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology/Radiography program.
Current ARRT certification/registration in Radiography.
Certification in Nuclear Medicine (ARRT(N) or NMTCB) preferred/required.
CT certification and/or documented clinical competency as required by regulation.
Minimum of PET/CT experience or completion of approved PET/CT training with clinical exposure.

Responsibilities

Prepare patients for PET/CT procedures and educate them.
Handle and administer radiopharmaceuticals per protocols and safety standards.
Perform PET/CT examinations including positioning, acquisition, processing, and quality evaluation.
Operate PET/CT equipment and conduct quality control procedures.
Review images for technical quality and obtain additional imaging as directed by radiologist.
