Gateway Services Inc. is seeking a Veterinary Route Service Specialist to be the primary, face-to-face representative of our company to veterinary clinics and pet parents.

You will manage a demanding route, handle pets with care, and work independently in emotionally sensitive situations with professionalism. This role is physically active and travel-heavy, requiring strong organization, reliability, and compassionate communication.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior customer service or route-based experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Comfortable using mobile technology and CRM systems.
• Ability to work early mornings, weekends, or holidays as needed.

Aufgaben

• Review routes, load equipment, and verify items before departure.
• Visit clinics, maintain professional relationships, follow procedures.
• Retrieve deceased pets respectfully, mindful of environments.
• Scan pets at pickup/delivery; verify names and instructions.
• Document requests and follow through to completion.
• Interact with pet parents with compassion and professionalism.
• Return to Care Center, unload, and hand off to Operations.
• Maintain responsibility for each pet until received and documented.
• Be primary contact for clinics, address questions promptly.
• Provide high quality service and gather feedback to improve care.
