Job summary

Petsense is seeking a Team Member to interact with customers and team members, support selling initiatives, and provide legendary customer service in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities include operating the cash register, assisting with loading purchases, merchandising, and caring for live animals with proper safety practices. Flexible shifts, strong communication, and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• No experience required; retail or pet/live animal knowledge preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required; ability to read, write and count accurately.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers and team members to support selling initiatives and provide legendary customer service.
• Maintain regular and predictable attendance; work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
• Operate cash register and follow cash handling procedures.
• Assist customers with loading purchases and merchandise; provide safe animal care and sanitation of live animals.
• Execute merchandising plans, assemble merchandise, and participate in freight and price changes.
