Job summary

Petsense is seeking a Team Member to interact with customers and teammates, support selling initiatives, and perform assigned tasks while delivering legendary customer service. Responsibilities include operating the cash register, stocking merchandise, merchandising plans, and caring for live animals, with an emphasis on safety and accuracy.

Experience is not required; a high school diploma is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• No experience required; retail experience and/or pet/live animal knowledge preferred.
• Read, write and count accurately.
• Ability to communicate clearly with customers and team members.

Responsibilities

• Operate cash register and follow cash handling procedures.
• Recovery of merchandise and participate in freight process.
• Support selling initiatives and engage with customers and pets.
• Assemble merchandise and assist customers with loading purchases.
• Ensure safety and well-being of live animals and maintain their habitats.
