Job summary

Destination Pet, LLC is seeking a General Manager in Onalaska, Wisconsin to oversee day-to-day operations of the Pet Me Scratch Me facility. You will hire, coach, schedule, manage inventory and budget while ensuring top‑notch customer satisfaction.

You will drive payroll accuracy, safety compliance and team development. You should have strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills, plus veterinary/boarding/grooming experience is preferred to align with our care network and service

Qualifications

• Five plus years in full P&L management responsibility in hospitality, service or retail environments.
• Experience in problem-solving, sound judgment, confidentiality and professional interaction with staff and clients.
• Proficiency in computer applications including Microsoft Office Suite and database systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all center operations including hiring, coaching, training and scheduling.
• Manage inventory, budgets and payroll; ensure compliance with labor laws and safety policies.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and handle customer and staff issues.
• Oversee local marketing, community events and social media engagement to grow sales and attract customers.
• Supervise staff performance reviews, development and offboarding when necessary.
