Job summary

Destination Pet, LLC is seeking an Assistant Manager for the Onalaska location to help lead a team and deliver exceptional pet care services. You will supervise center staff under the General Manager, drive customer service and sales, and ensure daily operations run smoothly.

The role requires at least 1 year of management experience in hospitality, service, or retail environments, strong communication, problem-solving, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Associate or BS/BA is a plus.
• Minimum of 1 year management experience preferably in hospitality, service and/or retail environments.
• Strong problem-solving, sound judgment and confidentiality.
• Proficiency in computer applications including Microsoft Office Suite and database applications.
• Ability to multi-task with strong time management skills.
• Excellent oral presentation, writing, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with leading and coordinating center staff under the General Manager.
• Ensure exceptional customer service and sales execution.
• Schedule staff while managing payroll budget and productivity.
• Monitor center operations and compliance with relevant laws and policies.
• Promote and market Destination Pet programs in the community.
• Serve as on-site manager when the General Manager is unavailable.
