Job summary

Pet Supplies Plus is seeking a friendly Retail Pet Store Associate to join our team in a fast-paced environment. You will greet neighbors, help pet parents select the right food and products, and provide thoughtful recommendations to meet each pet’s needs.

Responsibilities include operating the POS, processing transactions, promoting loyalty programs, stocking shelves, and maintaining a clean, welcoming store. Flexible scheduling and opportunities for advancement are highlighted in this role.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Willingness to learn about pet nutrition, products, and care.
• Able to work weekends and in a fast-paced retail setting.

Responsibilities

• Greet neighbors with a friendly, pawsitively passionate attitude.
• Help customers select the right pet food and supplies.
• Make product recommendations based on each pet’s needs.
• Operate the POS system, process transactions, and handle returns.
• Promote store specials, loyalty programs, and current offers.
• Stock shelves and keep displays organized.
• Assist with self-wash stations and nail trims (training provided).
• Keep the store clean and welcoming.
