Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Customer Service Representative to actively recruit clients and promote hospital services, greet clients and pets, explain preventive care, and coordinate care with the veterinary team. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years experience in retail sales or customer service preferred.
• Experience in a medical facility desired.
• Basic written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of hospital services and promote them to clients.
• Welcome clients and pets, educate on preventive care and pet health needs.
• Document and enter pet history, requested services, and other pertinent information.
• Direct the flow of clients and pets to ensure optimal care and productivity.
• Answer questions from clients by phone or in person and triage service needs.
• Schedule client appointments and follow-up exams with veterinarians as needed.
• Dispense prescribed items and sell retail products.
• Handle cash management and daily cash drawer reconciliation.
• Respond to customer complaints professionally and resolve issues.
• Support teamwork to deliver compassionate, effective pet care.
• Comply with practice policies and quality standards.
• Perform other duties as requested.
