Job summary

Court Street Animal Hospital is seeking an exceptional Client Service Representative to join our front desk team. The CSR will act as a liaison, provide information and resolve issues with accuracy and empathy, ensuring high client satisfaction and smooth front desk operations.

Responsibilities include scheduling, record-keeping, issuing invoices and prescriptions per vet instructions, and using our hospital software to document medical records and communicate with clients and teammates.

Qualifications

• Experience using standard office equipment.
• Knowledge of veterinary terminology and procedures.
• Flexible schedule including some weekends/holidays.
• Ability to work independently and take direction.
• Strong verbal and written communication, good judgment, and ability to handle stressful situations.

Responsibilities

• Receive and place calls to clients to schedule appointments.
• Prioritize multiple tasks in a calm, organized manner.
• Maintain documentation through client and pet records.
• Provide instructions, information and invoices; dispense prescriptions per veterinarian’s instructions; schedule future appointments.
• Use hospital computer systems to document medical records and communicate with clients and teammates.
• Manage hospital finances by balancing client transactions and handling cash/credit procedures; follow opening/closing procedures.
• Deliver excellent customer service and professional communication.
• Educate clients on preventative care, pet health needs, and available hospital services.
