Job summary

PetVet Care Centers' Scottsdale Ranch Animal Hospital in Arizona is seeking a Care Coordinator who provides exceptional client service and front-desk support. The role aligns with Veterinary Receptionist, Customer Service Representative, or Client Care Specialist positions to support the hospital and patient care.

As part of a high-performing team, you will handle scheduling, patient flow, basic emergencies, and data entry while upholding the hospital's Culture of Care.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older to be considered for this position.
• High school diploma or GED required, or equivalent education/experience.
• Customer service experience and ability to organize files and records.
• Excellent customer service skills and courteous, prompt assistance.

Responsibilities

• Provides excellent customer service in-person, on the phone, and in stressful situations.
• Manages lobby flow, addresses concerns, calms distressed owners, schedules appointments.
• Handles basic medical emergencies for pets and owners, ensuring safety and well-being.
• Assists with medication pickups, inquiries, and provides information about services and products.
• Inputs and manages data in practice management software, including billing and accounts.
• Assists with retail sales, weighing pets, processing faxes, and maintaining records.
• Reconciles cash drawer and performs end-of-day duties for accurate financial transactions.
