Job summary

WellHaven Pet Health is seeking a Receptionist to be the first point of contact for clients and pets. You will convert incoming calls into scheduled appointments, greet clients, and support the veterinary team to keep patient flow smooth.

This role requires multitasking, a calm demeanor under pressure, and basic computer skills. Prior customer service or front-desk experience is preferred; veterinary experience is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of customer service experience in a fast-paced environment.
• 1+ years of computer experience (typing, email, software).
• Veterinary experience is a plus but not required.
• Excellent phone demeanor and professional communication.

Responsibilities

• Convert incoming calls to scheduled appointments.
• Greet clients and patients; ensure a welcoming experience.
• Manage appointments and educate clients on services to improve conversions.
• Handle cashier duties and daily cash reconciliation.
• Maintain accurate records and smooth phone-to-visit transitions.
• Support veterinary team to optimize client flow and care.
