Job summary

Thrive Pet Healthcare is seeking a Veterinary Client Service Representative for Have A Heart Animal Hospital in Haverhill, MA. This part-time role offers 20-30 hours weekly, including some weekends and holidays, with duties spanning client communication, data entry, payments, appointment scheduling, and prescription calls to pharmacies.

The ideal candidate brings strong customer service experience, a HS diploma (AAS or higher preferred), and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; AAS or higher preferred.
• At least 6 months of customer service experience.
• Veterinary hospital experience is preferred, however not required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, squatting, reach, standing, and walking throughout the day.

Responsibilities

• Communicating via phone, email, and in person with clients and actively listening to their concerns.
• Utilizing computer information systems to accurately enter client/patient information, update and maintain medical records.
• Processing client payments and invoices.
• Scheduling and confirming appointments with patients.
• Precisely dispensing pharmaceuticals as needed and calling in prescriptions to pharmacies.
• Other administrative duties as needed.
