Job summary

VCA Animal Hospitals is seeking an experienced Client Service Representative to be the friendly face of the practice, delivering top-tier client service to pet owners and their pets.

You will handle front-desk duties, greet visitors, schedule appointments, process payments, explain services and fees, and help educate clients on basic pet care while maintaining accurate medical records and a clean, welcoming facility.

Responsibilities

• Greeting visitors, answering telephones, and guiding clients and their pets to exam rooms.
• Scheduling and confirming appointments.
• Placing outbound calls for follow-ups and outreach to prospective clients.
• Presenting and explaining fees, including processing payments.
• Recommending, selecting, and obtaining products and services, including prescriptions.
• Educating clients on general animal husbandry and non-medical pet care.
• Managing medical records, charts, reports and correspondence.
• Hospital maintenance (including removal of animal waste) and ensuring that facility is neat and clean at all times - both inside and outside.
