Job summary

VCA Animal Hospitals seeks an experienced Client Service Representative to join our team. The CSR sets the tone for the practice, greeting clients, guiding pets to exam rooms, and answering questions to ensure trust and satisfaction.

You will schedule appointments, process payments, explain services, and assist with client education on animal care while maintaining accurate medical records and a clean, welcoming facility.

Responsibilities

• Greeting visitors, answering telephones, and guiding clients and their pets to exam rooms.
• Scheduling and confirming appointments.
• Placing outbound calls for follow-ups and prospective clients.
• Presenting and explaining fees, including processing payments.
• Recommending, selecting, and obtaining products and services, including prescriptions.
• Educating clients on general animal husbandry and non-medical pet care (heartworm prevention, housebreaking, flea & tick control).
• Managing medical records, charts, reports and correspondence.
• Hospital maintenance and ensuring the facility is neat and clean inside and outside.
