Petco is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead a Pet Care Center retail team in Leander, TX. You will support the General Manager in running the store, manage partners, care for pets, and deliver exceptional customer experiences on the sales floor.

You are a trusted leader who helps develop talent, drive results, and ensure operational excellence daily. The role requires strong leadership, customer service, and store operations skills in a fast-paced retail environment.

Formación

• Minimum 2+ years retail supervisory experience.
• Proven ability to coach and motivate a team.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with POS systems and MS Office.

Responsabilidades

• Lead store partners to deliver outstanding service and build customer loyalty.
• Support hiring, onboarding, training, and ongoing development of store partners.
• Provide timely coaching, feedback, and recognition to strengthen performance.
• Maintain a clean, organized store that reflects Petco’s brand and values.
• Drive daily operations, sales, service, and performance metrics.
• Assist with inventory control, merchandising execution, and promotional events.
• Step into leadership responsibilities in the absence of the General Manager and resolve escalated customer concerns.
