Banfield Pet Hospital is seeking a Pet Care Assistant to work with our veterinary team to provide excellent medical care for pets in a welcoming setting. You will assist with room preparation, basic labs, and patient comfort, while supporting client education and service flow.

The role requires ability to manage multiple tasks, strong English communication, and a willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings. We value teamwork and patient-first care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma preferred.
• One year of related experience in customer service preferred.
• Must be able to work weekends and evenings as required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the treatment room and medical supplies for examinations.
• Hold or restrain pets during examination and procedures.
• Prepare in-house lab tests as allowed by state rules.
• Ensure comfort of hospitalized pets through walking, feeding, and cleaning.
• Maintain hospital cleanliness and follow protocols.
