Job summary

Orkin is seeking a Service Manager in Manteno, IL to lead a high‑performance service operation and develop a factory-trained team of Orkin Pros. You’ll blend pest control expertise with strong people skills to earn customer trust and deliver the peace of mind our clients expect.

You’ll recruit, train and motivate the team, oversee scheduling and field operations, and champion safety, integrity and innovation as you drive service excellence and business growth.

Qualifications

• Sales experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license/certification if required (company paid).

Responsibilities

• Lead an entire service operation upon completion of paid training.
• Motivate the service team to consistently provide the world’s best service, prioritizing safety.
• Conduct yourself with the utmost professionalism and integrity with customers and coworkers.
• Assist with recruiting top talent on the service team.
• Train and develop Orkin Pros through hands‑on management.
• Lead training meetings.
• Oversee our Orkin Pro Ride-A-Long program.
• Ensure customer expectations are met or exceeded through inspections and empathetic service.
• Champion innovation by supporting the team in adopting new products, services and technology.
• Monitor scheduling, routing and inventory to drive efficiencies and productivity.
