Job summary

Orkin is hiring skilled individuals in Manteno, IL to join a crew of technicians protecting homes and businesses from pests. No pest-control experience is required; paid training will equip you with the skills to inspect, install, and service attic and crawlspace protections.

You’ll work in a team, handle light carpentry, and communicate clearly with customers while maintaining equipment and documenting reports. A valid license and physical ability are needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to obtain state pesticide license within 90 days (training provided).
• Valid driver's license and good driving record.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs., climb ladders, and work in attics or crawlspaces.
• Must wear PPE and OSHA-compliant respirator when required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and install pest and home protection systems.
• Work as part of a technician crew to complete tasks.
• Perform attic and crawlspace services, including encapsulation and insulation.
• Perform light carpentry work.
• Communicate clearly with customers and document reports via handheld device.
