Job summary

Orkin in Lansing, MI is seeking a Service Manager to lead a high-performance service operation, train and coach the Orkin Pros, and blend pest-control knowledge with strong people skills to earn customer trust. You will focus on safety, integrity, and empathy while driving revenue through outstanding service.

No prior industry experience is required thanks to Orkin’s training. You’ll receive a company vehicle, competitive pay, and a comprehensive benefits package as you grow into a leadership

Qualifications

• Sales experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s licence required.
• Ability to obtain the pesticide license/certification if required (company paid).

Responsibilities

• Lead an entire service operation upon completion of paid training.
• Motivate the service team to consistently provide top-notch service while prioritizing safety.
• Conduct yourself with professionalism and integrity with customers and coworkers.
• Assist with recruiting top talent on the service team.
• Train and develop Orkin Pros through hands-on management.
• Lead training meetings.
• Oversee the Ride-A-Long program.
• Ensure customer expectations are met or exceeded through inspections and actions taken.
• Champion innovation by supporting teams adopting new products, services and technology.
• Monitor scheduling, routing and inventory to drive efficiencies and productivity.
