Job summary

Ecolab seeks a Pest Control Technician Trainee to join our Long Island, NY team. You will participate in a 5-week paid training program to learn pest detection, elimination, and prevention techniques while building relationships with commercial customers in hospitality and foodservice.

Upon completion, you’ll pursue licensing and continue in a field-based role with opportunities in service, sales, or management. A strong work ethic and valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of work or military experience.
• Current and valid Driver’s License with no restrictions.
• Willingness to work overnight shifts and be on call during off-hours and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a 5-week paid training program for pest detection, elimination, and prevention.
• Establish relationships with commercial customers in hospitality and foodservice.
• Document structural, sanitation, and pest issues using handheld equipment.
• Obtain required pest control licensing and/or certification as mandated by state/local law.
