Job summary

Ecolab in Dallas, TX is seeking a Pest Control Technician Trainee to join our team and protect public health and commercial facilities. You will participate in a 5-week paid training program, work with hospitality and foodservice customers, and gain pest control licensing as you grow toward service, sales, or management.

Expectation includes day work with some night services, training in Eagan, MN for one week, and competitive compensation with comprehensive benefits from Day 1.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include high school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of work or military experience.
• Valid Driver's License with no restrictions.
• Must be 18 years or older; able to work overnight shifts and be on call on weekends.
• Must obtain pest certification and/or business licensing as required by state/local law.
• Background check and drug test required for offers.
• Immigration sponsorship is not available for this role.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a 5-week paid training program to learn pest detection, elimination and prevention techniques.
• Establish effective working relationships with multiple commercial customers (hospitality and foodservice).
• Partner with customers on best practices to identify and solve pest elimination needs.
• Maintain knowledge of Ecolab's product and service offerings to enhance service and sales.
• Use handheld equipment to document structural, sanitation, and pest issues.
• Deliver timely, cost-effective, high-quality service under supervision.
• Obtain required pest control licensing and/or certification as mandated by state/local law.
