Job summary

Ecolab in South Dallas, TX is seeking a Pest Control Technician Trainee to protect public health and commercial sites by delivering science-based pest elimination solutions. You will start with our 5-week paid training and gain skills for a long-term career in service, sales, or management.

You’ll work in a field-based, independent role with initial training in MN, earning $19.68/hour and opportunities to grow within the company.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of work or military experience.
• Valid driver’s license with no restrictions.
• Willingness to work overnight shifts and weekends as needed.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Pest certification and/or business licensing per state/local law.
• Background check conducted after offer.
• Drug test including THC required for all offers.

Responsibilities

• Complete a 5-week paid training program for pest detection and elimination.
• Establish effective relationships with commercial customers (hospitality/foodservice).
• Partner with customers to identify and solve pest elimination needs.
• Maintain knowledge of Ecolab’s products and services.
• Document pest issues using handheld equipment.
• Deliver timely, high-quality service under supervision.
• Obtain required pest control licensing/certification.
