Remedy Intelligent Staffing is looking for a 1st Shift Pest Control Supervisor, in Von Ormy TX for IMMEDIATE HIRE!

Summary: Responsible for supporting the Sanitation Assistant Supervisor overseeing pest control and sanitation tasks, including management of contractors related to pest control.

Responsibilities:

1. Help develop and implement strategic sanitation program and pest control program policies.
2. Support Food Safety requirements towards regulatory compliance.
3. Understand the requirements of the Food Safety Manual and the company’s food safety guidelines, develop necessary cleaning and insect control measures, and manage relevant business partners.
4. Manage annual sanitation and pest control plan, budget forecast, and performance.
5. Manage related third-party companies, such as pest control, sanitation, and waste management companies.
6. Manage sanitation and pest control chemical supply and inventory.
7. Ensure that the plant is cleaned daily and ready to start production.
8. Manage the flour sifter mesh inspection as needed.
9. Manage wastewater-related equipment (DAF, Grease Trap) as needed.
10. Conduct inspections of factories from the perspective of pest control and food safety, providing instructions or requests for countermeasures as necessary.
11. Maintain good communication with subordinates, peers, and other members of management.
12. Train and set safety and pest control goals for sanitation and pest control staff.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

1. Excellent planning, implementation, and reviewing skills.
2. Problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities.
3. Excellent record-keeping/documentation skills.

Education and Requirements:

1. Bachelor of Science degree (preferably in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, or related), or 2-3 years’ experience in sanitation, pest control, or processed food company.
2. Previous leadership experience in a federally regulated food processing or pest control environment (at least 1 year).
