Job summary

Terminix International is seeking a Pest Control Consultant to sell our industry-leading pest management services to residential customers. You’ll be the face of our national brand locally, and clients will depend on you to protect their homes and families by assessing needs and recommending solutions.

Essential duties include inspecting homes, collaborating with Service Centers and Inside Sales, developing proposals with the Branch Manager, and documenting in the Sales CRM.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• A valid driver’s license from your state of residence.
• Strong social, customer service, and communication skills.
• Prefer at least 1-2 years of pest technician or sales experience.
• Travel up to 100% of time within assigned territory(s).

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect homes for pests and sell pest control solutions and preventive maintenance.
• Collaborate with Customer Service Center, Inside Sales, and Technicians for increased opportunities.
• Partner with Branch Manager to identify revenue streams and develop proposals for customers.
• Complete Home diagram using Sales CRM to ensure clear understanding of the customer’s home and challenges.
• Follow up on past proposals to close sales opportunities.
• Provide expert knowledge to new service installations to ensure quality work.
• Complete daily activities and sales performance using the Sales CRM.
