Location: Southampton, Long Island, New York
Salary Range: $65,000 - $70,000 (DOE)

The Pest Control Field Supervisor in Southampton, Long Island, NY is responsible for leading and managing a team of pest control technicians, ensuring the delivery of an exceptional customer experience. The role owns all service operations for the Southampton branch and reports to the Long Island Branch Manager.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, train, coach, motivate, and lead a team of Pest Control Technicians.
• Identify and implement scheduling strategies to ensure adequate coverage during peak volume periods.
• Efficiently schedule routes and manage daily route optimization to achieve 70+% technician utilization.
• Performance manage service team employees and hold regular meetings to discuss customer visits, coaching, and expectations.
• Respond to technician questions, coach through difficult client situations, and diffuse upset clients as needed.
• Track and enforce Key Performance Indicators such as Tech Utilization, Tech Efficiency, Customer NPS, and Customer Retention.
• Ensure technicians adhere to company and OSHA/FIFA policies and procedures.
• Act as the liaison with DEC to ensure proper compliance and technician certifications.
• Communicate with customers to ensure satisfaction and discuss additional services.
• Build long‑term relationships with customers from a wide range of backgrounds and tailor solutions to meet their needs.
• Operate company‑provided vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Select products for required treatments and minimize material usage to under 5% of revenue.
• Manage proper pick‑up and disposition of used materials.

Qualifications

• Must have pest control experience and a 7A applicator license or higher.
• At least 3 years of driving experience and a valid NY state Driver’s License.
• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• Three–to‑five years’ experience managing a field team.
• Strong customer service orientation with at least two years in a customer‑service role.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Strong coaching, leadership, and motivation abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree a plus.
• Ability to use personal protective equipment, perform physical tasks (walking, bending, lifting up to 50 pounds), and work in indoor/outdoor environments in all weather conditions.
• Ability to work extended hours and in high‑pressure situations.
• Successful completion of background check and drug test.
• Knowledge of tree/shrub treatment or pest control products and services is a plus.
