Job summary

Aptive Intelligent Pest Control is seeking a driven Pest Control Technician to service routes around Long Island, NY, with weekly reporting to Deer Park, NY. The role includes a company vehicle, paid training, and a strong benefits package, plus overtime opportunities and performance bonuses.

You will manage treatments, drive to local routes, and maintain records while adhering to safety standards. Ideal candidates hold a valid pesticide license, a clean driving record, and consent to drug

Qualifications

• Current commercial pesticide applicator license or certification for general pest control in the state where the work will be performed.
• A US driver’s license valid for a minimum of 3 years.
• Clean driving record (no more than one moving violation in the past year and no more than 2 in the past 4 years).
• A drug test and background check will be performed on all new hires.

Responsibilities

• Run a daily route resolving customer pest concerns and issues.
• Maintain truck and equipment in proper working order.
• Keep accurate records of treatments provided.
• Mix, apply, and handle pesticides in compliance with state and federal laws.
• Serve as the subject matter expert for customers to implement effective pest solutions.
• Maintain and service all route customers per company standards and procedures.
• Advise customers of potential problems and keep management informed of route issues.
• Maintain proper inventory of pesticides and carry a ~50 lb backpack while on route.
• Schedule includes every other Saturday.

This is a full-time Pest Control Technician position located on the road in the area around Long Island, NY. This position will report to our office in Deer Park, NY once per week. The individual we are looking for is also someone that enjoys working in a team environment, and excels working at an individual level.

• $20.75 - $23.75 an hour

Responsibilities include:

• Serve as the subject matter expert for your customers by implementing the most efficient and overall best pest solution for each customer's individual needs
• Maintain and service all route customers according to company standards and procedures

• Keep management informed of any problems encountered on service routesMaintain proper inventory of pesticides in usage
• Please note that you will be assigned a route in your local area
• Carry a product backpack that weighs approximately 50 lbs
• Work schedule includes every other Saturday
