Job Description

Cape Fox Facilities Services is seeking Mid Level Personnel Security Adjudicators for a Federal Agency in the National Capital Region.

The salary range (or hiring range) for this exempt position has been established at: $85,000- $95,000.

The above salary range represents the company’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. In addition, we offer a variety of benefits including company holidays, paid time off, health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, life and disability insurance, tuition reimbursement, as well as 401K with company match. This job will be posted until filled or withdrawn.

• Evaluates, validates, and certifies the trustworthiness of DoD-affiliated personnel for access to SCI and SAPs.
• Conducts reviews of personnel security investigations per SEAD-4
• Analyzes investigative reports, continuous evaluation data, and criminal histories
• Identifies risks under SEAD-4 criteria
• Documents outcomes for review or appeal
• Recommends further investigation
• Creates and updates case files and databases; and coordinates with investigative agencies and stakeholders.
• Supports initial vetting, temporary eligibility, and due process functions
• Renders well-reasoned eligibility decisions balancing mitigating factors against disqualifying conduct under SEAD-4
• Manages due process actions and appeals
• Communicates directly with individuals under review to obtain clarification
• Prepares reports summarizing adjudicative actions
• Stays current on regulations and policy updates.

• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience (some within the last 2 years) demonstrating independent execution, proficiency with applicable laws/policies/standards, and professional written products and briefings
• Bachelor's degree in a related field, or 12 years of experience in lieu of degree
• Minimum 8 years of relevant adjudication experience; experience with SEAD-4, ICD 704, and federal personnel security standards.
• TS/SCI with an In-Scope CI Poly
