Job summary

Crunch Fitness in Salisbury, NC is seeking a Fitness Manager to lead the Personal Training department, grow the PT business, develop trainers, and enhance member experience. You will coach, sell, lead by example, and keep the department organized with high energy and a strong culture.

The role requires sales leadership, hiring and development experience, and a commitment to KPIs in a fast-paced club. Competitive compensation with growth opportunities on a national brand.

Qualifications

• Current CPR/AED certification and basic First Aid knowledge.
• Current nationally recognized Personal Trainer certification or a four-year related degree such as Exercise Science, Sports Medicine, Physical Education, Nutrition, or a similar field.
• Experience leading Personal Trainers and growing a PT business.
• Proven ability to hire, coach, and develop a fitness team.
• Strong knowledge of sales, client service, and KPIs in a fitness environment.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, train, and develop a team of Personal Trainers.
• Ensure a high-energy, professional training team aligned with company standards.
• Lead regular team and one-on-one meetings to review goals and performance.
• Coach trainers on sales conversations, client service, programming, and follow-up.
• Manage trainer schedules, floor hours, and non-session hours within budgets.
• Drive PT revenue through consultations, promotions, and client retention.
• Oversee proper documentation of assessments, programming, and client notes.
