Job summary

Blue Star Investments is seeking an energetic Personal Trainer in Grand Rapids, MN to drive client workouts, sales, and club maintenance in a friendly, upbeat atmosphere.

The role includes fitness consultations, group and one-on-one sessions, and promoting memberships and merchandise. A bilingual candidate and those with sales experience will be favored; ongoing certifications are encouraged.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Bilingual a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology, Sports Medicine, or health-related field preferred, but not required.
• Personal Training Certificate preferred, but not required.
• CPR, First Aid and AED certified preferred, but not required.
• Sales experience preferred.
• MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Drive personal training and merchandise sales.
• Execute marketing campaigns as set forth by the Marketing Director.
• Post on club social media accounts to enhance engagement and culture.
• Focus on member experience, including follow-up to members and prospects.
• Conduct fitness consultations and goal setting to assess and recommend plans.
• Understand how to administer body scan technology and interpret results.
• Deliver pre-designed workouts to groups of 1–15 members.
• Maintain club and equipment.
• Review club reports to improve strategies and identify trends.
• Attend weekly meetings and trainings.
• Remain current on certifications and trends in the industry.
