Job summary

Life Time Inc. is seeking a dedicated Personal Trainer in Minnesota to support members in achieving healthier, happier lives.

You will develop personalized fitness plans, conduct assessments, and provide education and motivation while maintaining exceptional customer service and safety standards. The role requires at least 1 year of experience, a high school diploma or GED, and CPR/AED certification, with preferred bachelor’s in kinesiology or related field.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1 year of personal training experience.
• Certified personal Trainer.
• CPR and AED Certified.
• Knowledge of fitness, cardiovascular training, nutrition and program design.
• Ability to perform an aerobic activity for the duration of a class and be able to bend, stand, reach, climb and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Develops safe, professional, and comprehensive client programs that drive client goal achievement and retention.
• Monitors and instructs clients during personal training sessions on safe and effective use of equipment.
• Reads, watches, and engages in required training related to the role.
• Conducts fitness consultations for new clients including pre-participation screening, lifestyle questionnaires, and goal setting.
• Provides fitness floor assistance to all members to ensure safety, education, and motivation.
