Job summary

Life Time Inc. in Eden Prairie, MN is seeking a motivated Personal Trainer to develop comprehensive client programs, conduct fitness consultations, and deliver expert guidance on cardiovascular, strength, and flexibility training. You will maintain safety, build relationships, and promote training services across the club.

Required: High School Diploma or GED, 1 year PT experience, CPT, CPR/AED. Preferred: Bachelor’s in Kinesiology or related field. Competitive pay with benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of personal training experience.
• Certified Personal Trainer credential required.
• CPR and AED certification required.
• Knowledge of fitness, cardiovascular training, nutrition and program design.
• Ability to perform an aerobic activity for duration of class and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Develops safe, professional client programs to drive goal achievement and retention.
• Instructs clients during sessions on safe use of cardio, flexibility and strength equipment.
• Conducts fitness consultations for new clients including screening and goal setting.
• Provides fitness floor assistance, education, and motivation to members.
• Promotes and sells personal training programs and services.
• Completes administrative requirements for each client’s fitness plan.
• Remains current on credentials and industry trends.
