Job summary

Life Time Inc. is hiring a Personal Trainer in Coon Rapids, MN to help members achieve healthier, happier lives through tailored programs and supportive coaching.

You will develop safe, effective training plans, conduct fitness consultations, monitor progress, and promote training services while maintaining high standards of customer service and safety. Certification, CPR/AED, and at least 1 year of experience are expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1 year of personal training experience.
• Certified Personal Trainer.
• CPR and AED certification.
• Knowledge of fitness, cardiovascular training, nutrition and program design.
• Ability to perform an aerobic activity for the duration of a class and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Develop safe, professional client programs to drive goal achievement and retention.
• Instruct clients during sessions on safe use of cardio, flexibility and strength equipment.
• Conduct fitness consultations including screening and goal setting.
• Provide fitness floor assistance and motivate members.
• Promote and sell personal training programs and services.
• Complete administrative requirements for each client’s fitness plan.
• Remain current on credentials and continuing education.
