Job summary

Life Time Inc. is seeking a Personal Trainer in Champlin, MN. You will develop safe, professional client programs to help members achieve their fitness goals and provide education on cardiovascular and strength training.

You will conduct consultations, assist on the floor, promote training services, and manage administrative tasks for client plans. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 1 year of PT experience, CPR/AED and certification, plus knowledge of nutrition and program design.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of personal training experience.
• Certified personal Trainer.
• CPR and AED certification.
• Knowledge of fitness, cardiovascular training, nutrition and program design.
• Ability to perform an aerobic activity for the duration of a class and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology, Sports Medicine or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop safe, professional client programs to achieve goals.
• Instruct clients during sessions on equipment use.
• Conduct fitness consultations and pre-participation screenings.
• Provide fitness floor assistance and safety education.
• Promote and sell personal training programs.
• Complete administrative requirements for each client's plan.
• Keep credentials current and pursue continued education.
• Document all aspects of client programming.
