Comfort Keepers in Ellsworth, ME is seeking compassionate Caregivers to provide one-on-one in-home support for seniors, delivering companionship and basic personal care. Full-time and part-time roles are available, with emphasis on building meaningful relationships and improving daily health and well-being.

You will work in clients' homes, coordinating with families, and supporting activities of daily living such as light housekeeping, transportation, and mobility assistance.

Formación

• One year of caregiving experience (preferred but not required)
• Required: Valid Driver's License, Automobile Insurance, and reliable vehicle
• Minimum high school diploma or GED required
• Open availability strongly preferred
• Submit to Pre-Employment Drug Screening

Responsabilidades

• Provide non-medical care to seniors in their own homes
• Establish open communication and develop friendly relationships with seniors and their families
• Help seniors with daily tasks such as light housekeeping and organization
• Accompany seniors to the grocery store, doctor appointments and pharmacy visits
• Organize transportation, ambulation and transfers
• Encourage activity and movement
• Inspire a positive, can-do attitude when it comes to daily tasks, appointments and hobbies
• Maintain a trusting and comforting environment in the home

Position Physical Demands:

The work requires moderate to physical exertion on a regular and recurring basis, such as driving, assisting clients in transfer

activities and ambulation, and light housekeeping. Regularly required to stand, sit, walk, talk, and hear, reach, kneel, crouch. Lifting only up to 25 pounds is permitted and may be required.
